hello

"the error occurred when acm was initialized"
.. thats what i get when i try to convert an ac3-avi to svcd.
i allready installed a new acm-codec (lameACM-20020202), but no cure.
i also put the directshow-priority higher and even highest... no cure...

can any1 help me please?

TMPG isn't able to read AC3 files.
YOu probably have an XVID avi there too, so i suggest you read this guide thrue

looks like i have the wrong ac3-codec installed
nandub/virtualdib tells me:
"couldn't locate decompressor for format 'DIV3' (micro$oft high speed mpeg-4 v3 [hack:divx low-motion])
Virtualdub requires a video for windows compatible codec to compress video. directshow codecs, such as those used by windows media player, are not suitable"


so i searched for "mpeg-4 v3 codec" and found this: 1041242713-ac3filter_0_63b.exe

but it still doesn't work...
is it the wrong codec?

Uninstall that codec

then, DLL the nimo codec pack you'll find under tools of this site. install it, and then try it again, it should work just fine.
