  1. Here is my situation. I have a Sony DRX-500UL drive, DVD XCopy and a Sony DVP-S330. When I burn copies of my DVD movie's for backup copies (I have a 3 year old has destroyed 4 movies already) they burn and play on my computer but not on my DVD player attached to the TV. I have tried DVD+RW DVD-RW and DVD+R all with the same results. I have tried TDK and memorex with the same results. The DVD player does not see the disk. I have taken a copy to a friends house and it plays on his DVD player (different brand). Any suggestions? This is frustrating.

  2. You say you are using DVDXCOPY. you can go to to www.dvdxcopy.com and post or search for burning failures. DVDXCOPY uses gear and Nero to burn. Its built it, maybe your settings are set wrong in the options.

  4. not to sound mean, but the answer is obvious....

Not sure if this is you, but APEX dvd players dont like
burned dvd's, ive made for friends...

sampo's are 69$ or less and can play evrything...
even mpg's as data files, go get one of those, i have
    2, plus a sony...

  5. here's another thought, i tried xcopy, and discs fail
in most other players, so i burn now only with record-
max, try dvd2one for backups for the little one...

have a dvp-s330 standalone, and its the only one that
    plays RW's, go figure....

Wat are you talkin about... APEX is especially for burned dvds and cdrs.

I bought two of themfor that purpose alone... "certain" apex players even play mpg files burned to a dvd or cd.

  7. Who ever recommended I contact xcopy's web site Thank You. It turned out that my Sony DVD DVP-S330 player needed DVD-R disks. Thanks again.
