  1. I purchased 100 ACCU's awhile back and still have quite a few. There are too many manufacturer's of ACCU though, and I was VERY fortunate to get the ones which were SONY and LEAD DATA. I don't want to risk getting a different brand so I think I want to jump on getting some "RITEKS" people talk about, like the G03's or something. Can anyone tell me the BEST PLACE online to purchase these. And can you verify that ALL of the disks from the beginning of the spindle to the END burned and played perfectly? If so, I'm gonna jump on em'. Thanks

  2. www.supermediastore.com

    Their prices have gone up tho.. but they sell the REAL deal. I've burned 85 of their Ritek G3's and not a single coaster.

    I heard good things about these guys. http://www.esbuy.com/
    Turns out they are local for me so I did a walk in. Happy with their products. Also they are one of the few places that still have Ritek media. A lot of others are running out.

    @dc91gt, thanks! That is what I was looking for. A place that seems to be consistent with their quality and sells legit media they advertise, such as "RITEK." Thanks

    Thanks for the info, I knew about that site and checked it out and their prices were higher then most others, and they also seemed to only have 4x media, and I would prefer 2x. I have absolutely no reason why I have to burn a disk in 15 minutes as opposed to 30. And with DVD media in general right now, I would only want to burn at a max of 2x. But that's just me.

    Meritline=Supermediastore=cdrdvdrmedia=dvdr-rw

    Although supermedia store says they are no longer apart of Meritline, they still have the same addy.

    All of these stores are the same. They have the same address. All have been accused of media swapping. It happened to me and some others as they've reported it here and on doom9.

    Companies didn't raise the price of Ritek media, Ritek raised their wholesale OEM price. Means it costs more for Meritline and the like to buy the media. This is to cover the conversion of their new manufacturing plant to help up production to meet current demand. Most companies should have 'em in stock on the 7th.

    www.rima.com is another good company. $96 plus 5-8 for shipping. They sell Taiyo's for $2.10 also.

    I knew meritline and cdrdvdrmedia were the same companies. Interesting that cdrdvdrmedia has had lower prices overall and free shipping while meritline does NOT have free shipping for most orders and has higher prices.

    I've also heard the experience at meritline overall has been much worse then cdrdvdrmedia due to the media swapping you mention. Over the phone AND on the web, I made it very clear I wanted the SONY manufacturer ID for my next order of ACCU. I should have them today or tomorrow at the latest. They were out of the silver top/purple bottom so they gave me the white top, ink jet printable ACCU's which are more expensive instead. I will immediately test them with ADVDINFO, and if they aren't ACCU or at least 50/50 lead data/SONY, they will go back to them at warp speed and i'll get the Ritek from rima.com as everyone has mentioned.
