    [b]hello ...will someone please tell me how long it should take to encode an avi file 684m/b in size to mpeg1... i'm getting a time of 32 hours... is this the normal.... many thanks for any assistance given.

    It depends on how fast your computer are and if you are using filter like "Noise reduction" cause it will yake much longer if you are using many them.
