    I'm looking for a program so that I can merge my Xvid encoded lorD of the rings files into one large file in one swoop. anything that is not limited, like a 5 monute max time or something. any help would be appreciated, thanx

    You could use VirtualDub as it's a great tool for merging AVI files.

    VirtualDub is in the Tools Section to your left. :P
