Do 4x DVD-Rs even exist?

Hi,

i live in the UK and i purchased a Sony DW -U10a burner and it can burn at the fastest speeds currently - 4x DVD-+R/RW.

Ive had 2x media but i can't find 4x media to burn - would be nice to burn a whole movie in under 15 mins

Go to http://www.blankdiscshop.co.uk they sell lots of media at good prices.

Even though they sell 4x media I still buy 2x and so does alot of people because its not worth paying the extra amount for 4x at the moment.

This is where I get most of my stuff. I bought a 4x 10pack to try out/play with. But mostly use 2x media as the cost/time just doesn't work out for me right now.

and works great on pioneer 105. In bulk cost about $1.85 us

The 4x media they sell with their own brand name are Ritek G04s, and burn perfectly in my Pioneer 105... your Sony should do well with them also.
