Hi,
Hope you can help.
I used Goldwave to split the audio in 2 as well at the same point as the video (source range in TMPenc).
When encoding the avi, I load the original avi and set to range from 0 to a frame half way. I use as input the first audio file and create an mpg file #1. This work fine, audio and video.
Then I encode again, , I also load the original avi and set to range from half way to the end. I use as input the second audio file and create mpg file #2. This does NOT work. The result is an mpg file with no sound. When this second .wav audio file is played individually (without video), the sound the there.
Please, what am I doing wrong ? Spent some time on it already. Thank you.

Why not split the .avi in half using Vdub? Then you would know that both the audio and video were the same length and compatable. You could then load each .avi into Tmpge seperately, without having to use the source range function (provided that the halves would be able to fit on your burning media) You could also us Vdub to save your uncompressed .wav from each of the .avi files and plug those into Tmpge as your audio source.
That is just how I would go about this, but as you know there are one million and one ways to convert and burn and no one does it the same.
