    **I'm running mIRC 6.03**

I would like to know if there is a way to, in the event of an unexpected power outtage, crash, etc, restart mIRC and have it automatically rejoin every channel & server that it was on.

I went out for lunch today, and when I came back I found that the power had gone out while I was gone (stupid utility company). I was in about a dozen different channels, and can't remember all of them, so I would like to try and prevent this in the future.

    Thanks for any help.

  2. Put a shortcut of mirc.exe in your startup folder.

Then under DCC->Options, go to the 'Connection' tab.

Under it will be a few things (options/perform etc). First step is to go to options and in the right pane tick the following options:
'Connect on Startup' and 'Reconnect on Disconnection'

Now back under the 'Connection' tab click on 'Perform'. Here tick the option to 'Enable Perform on Startup'.

Then under the 'Networks' add whatever server you are currently on by clicking 'Add' and selecting it from the list.

From there go to the box under that and type the following:
    /join #Channel Name 1
    /join #Channel Name 2

And so forth. For this to work you will also have to disable the startup picture of the author and little about screen. To do this, go to Help -> About then next to the www.mirc.com message untick the box.

Hope that helps and it wasnt too confusing.

On a side note: 700th post for me
