  1. i have many divx movies waiting to be put on (s)vcds and i have a small problem....i like using nero to burn them with, but the divx is too large to put on a cd...and i am pretty sure u cannot spilt the movies using divx
    ...soo wut is the best solution and best program to split the movie? is there a guide to this?

    Yes, VirtualDub can split a DivX into parts. It's in the Tools Section to your left. :P

    If you are going to encode them to MPEG(2) to make (S)VCDs, then you don't need to split the AVI? You can select the section of the AVI that you want to encode in TMPG or CCE

    just because a divx wont fit on 1 cd does not mean that the movie in mpeg form will not fit on one cd. there are ways to encode your divx movies so that you can get over 100 minutes per vcd using certain templates. Just thought you might like to know that

  7. Use TMPGenc to convert it to (S)VCD and use "source range" to select the part of the divx you can get on a disk.
