I got one of these players after my old 600AD died (thank the warranty for getting another free one). This seems to read certain media off of a CD-R just like a CD-ROM (.jpg, .mpg. etc.). I was wondering if anyone had personal experience using a DVD-R disc to read media on this player. I made a DVD/MP3 disc with no luck in reading the disc. Is this trying to register this as a DVD Video? Has anyone been successful in using a DVD-R to read just mp3 files?

(I looked at the DVD player list comments with little help.)
