Hello all Back-up Merchants,
I have done 3 back-ups of DVD's DVD-R's and I was wondering which is the best encoder.
I currently using DVD2SVCD with it turned up to DVD resolution (700 something x 500 something ) with the bitrate all turned up to 4200 etc.
I am currently using CCE as my encoder (using a 4 pass VBR) and was wondering would TMPeg give me a clearer image, because it is slightly blurry.

I know turning up the passes would give me a better picture, but how many passes. I have read that 4 gives you a pretty good quality and after 5 passes there is very little difference.
So could someone please advise me on there experiences with encoders.
Thanks,
Le Monkey
