    hi,

    I have a scvd video, but it is not the standard resolution, but a little higher and my standalone dvd player won't play it.
    I managed to rip the mpg file from the cd using vcdgear, but when I try to reencode it using Tmpeg, it gives me an error that this file is not supported.

    is there any other program that can reencode svcd files?

    There is an MPEG2 plugin that you need (look in the tools section on this site). Place it in the TMPGenc plugins directory and in TMPGenc set its priority up towards the top. Should work now.

    I found the plugin on this page but I cant get it to work, is there an alternate place to dowload it from that's in english
