    Hi there!
i've been using the program and there's one thing that's impossible for me to do, or maybe that option is not working well. Subtitles.
i tried to make vcd and svcd with subtitles and nothing happens. When i select language on the tab i set the option to OTHERS and select ZH for mandarin as main language, and it works... the movie end up with the selected language, but in the other tab for the subs i set the option OTHERS for spanish subtitles ES. but when i put the discs in my dvd player there's no option to select subtitles or no permanent subtitles.
Maybe i've been doing things wrong, maybe not... could you please let me know what happen?

while we dont know why your subtitles arent working, we hope that our addition in 1.5 makes it easier and fixes your subtitle issues you are having.... when it includes subs in the svcd/vcd/dvd you dont get the option to turn them on or off, it actually "burns" them directly into the mpeg so they are actually a part of the mpeg itself...
As below, so above and beyond, I imagine
drawn outside the lines of reason.
Push the envelope. Watch it bend.

Over thinking, over analyzing separates the body from the mind. Withering my intuition leaving all these opportunities behind.

    Great news!
Here is a link to a foum on divx.com
It seems that ffmpegx can do svcd's with subtitles.

The program is slightly more difficult to use than forty-two. Earlier versions did not have svcd format options. I have only used the 3rd in the list of updates. There are at 12 now I think.

Im downloading it as we speek to give it a try. I'm sure this forum will help you with the subtitles on svcds

You know, a forum search for "stream.yuv" would do wonders, but here it is again:
    Code:
sudo rm -rf (drag stream.yuv file here)
Type that in (minus the parentheses, and dragging that file there instead of the text saying to do that...) and hit enter, followed by your admin password, and it should be gone.
I like systems, their application excepted. (George Sand, translated from French), "J'aime beaucoup les systèmes, le cas d'application excepté."

    thanks for tip.
i was so tired looking for a way to get rid of those files, so i finally made it last night... but i had succes typing as follow:

cd /users/myname/desktop/eva6 and then hit enter
after this i was in the right folder, then i typed:
    rm stream.yuv and hit enter.

that's it. the previous days i typed the previous code altogether i guess that's why it never worked.

but i really apreciate what you've done for me... hope this works for all the people who has the same anoying problem with .yuv files

Its my understanding that a complete conversion should not leave a .yuv file behind.

If you have this after the conversion, something happened somewhere and your output may corrupt.

Just to let you know. Make sure you watch the mpeg files completely before you image them.

To save you some headache down the line that is

I guess you're right, that happens i believe, cause i quit the program at some point, maybe when .yuv file was on my desktop. but you already know the saying curiosity kill the cat, so i tried to trash them, and all that stuff, but as said before i've already manage to get rid of those files. Fiuuuf!

You said that to make sure the file is ok? But i burned the same file with 2 different process .bin and .img and only the one you burn with multitrack xa format worked for me, the other cause my dvd player to get a black screen and jumpy, don't know why, but if the multitrack works ok i guess that's fine with me.

    Thanks anyway my friend
