  1. Hey Guys,

I was wondering what the easiest way was to encode a movie that has more than 1 PGC other then the Scenerist method on Doom9, help would be appreciated,

    Thanks

  3. Hmm, is there any other way? like removing the references to the PGCs from the VideoTS.ifo's and/or VTS_x.ifo's?

  4. This is the way I did it as Makeiteasy seemed to be too confusing. I took Band of Brothers Disc #1 and I ripped the main movie with DVD Decryptor. I then opened the .ifo file with ifoedit and created new ifo files. This created a new Title Set which DVD2one could use. I processed the files through dvd2one which resized them so they fit on 1 dvd-r. Burned, perfect playback. The problem is getting the 2 PGC's to be seem as 1 movie which they actually are. Episode DVD's are the same way, just rip in File Mode with Decryptor, Use ifoedit to create new ifos, dvd2one and bam burn and enjoy your backup. I hope this helps someone out there 8)

  5. It would be nice if there was a good utility for copying sector adddresses, then it would be much easier to restore the menus on dvd2one rips.

ifoupdate is a start, but I inevitably end up copying at least some of them over by hand.

  6. I'm still processing multiple PGC movies the same way. Rip the main files with decryptor. No need to even take the ifo off the original, because you're going to have ifoedit make new ones anyway. Then run dvd2one. Looks great everytime. The only problem I've had is taking discs done with dvdxcopy and combining the clips. Sometimes when you playback the movie, a scene will repeat itself. But other than that, it looks good.
