problems

Ok. I'm having bad problems when I have say a 2 disc rip that was done with dvdxcopy. I rip both discs to 2 different directories, then rename the 2nd dir files. I then open vobedit and join the clips. No problem so far. Next I open ifoedit and have ifoedit create new ifos and correct the original ifo file plus coorect the vob pointers. Then I move the files over to the 1st directory after renaming them to match the order like VTS_01_04, VTS_01_05 and so on. Then I run dvd2one on all this and it fits in down to 4.36 gb. I burn with recordnow MAX and the burn completes. Here comes the problem which I cannot figure out. I had the movie murder by numbers split to 2 dvd's with dvdxcopy. Well after going through the process described above, I watched the entire movie to make sure it worked right. Well, on Chapter 15 which according to my ifo file was the final chapter, I noticed that some scenes would play then replay another time before the movie would go past that point. For example, say the movie has 10:05 left, well it would get to the 10:05 mark, then repeat the same scene before moving down to like 9:45 and such. Does anyone know why this is happening? Thanks for any help in this regard, because I'm lost. Because my main goal is to get this entire movie onto 1 disc.

DVDXCOPY puts a "INSERT DISC2" and a pause in the movie. This causes problems when trying to join them. I am not sure how you can remove it. DVDXCOPy also has ifo issues with some movies that were never corrected.

thanks for responding. I guess it's ok because the entire movie fits on 1 disc, but I'll do some experimenting and post my results.
