  1. I recently got DVD workshop and have upgraded to version 1.3. I have two VCD video clips (one is 29.97 fps, the other is 25 fps). I have 4 questions.

    1. Is there a way to create an image ( or burn to disc) these two different files onto one project using dvd workshop? Nero express lets me do it because it accepts all three vcd formats. DVD workshop though only lets you make a project based on a disc template. So, is there a way to get around the disc template?

    2. I tried creating my own template because Workshop does not have a predefined template for 23.976 fps files. When I use the disc template manager and select "new' or "edit" most of the options are greyed out. Is this normal, or is there something else I need to do in order to create a new disc template?

    3. Does anyone know if the new DVD Moviefactory (version 2) would let me burn these 2 different files onto one project?

    4. If none of the above work could I encode the 25 fps file to 29.97 using TMPGEnc, so that both files would be the same? Then I could make a project with Workshop. Would encoding a 25 fps video to 29.97 mess it up, or would it still play normally in a DVD player?

I just don't understand why a program like Nero Express would let me do this, but Workshop won't.

Hope I explained well enough. Sorry so many questions. Please help.[/b]

  3. I'm experiencing one of your problems. I can't make a VCD disc template. I wanted to make a VCD with 160 Audio and It wont let me create a template. All the options are unavailable or grayed out as you said. This is not the case with SVCDs templates since I can choose the video and audio bitrates I want. It awefully sounds as a bug, but who knows.

If anyone could help. Thanks for your time.
