No not really. I suppose you could make a series of stills for each of the characters in the password and make it where you can only advance to the next still by hitting the right # key on the remote. Hitting any other key would return you to the original menu.
So for instance your password is "123." Take the same still pic for you menu and make two copies, giving you 3 of the same pics, just with different names. Use VCDEasy to add these pics to your project. Still 1 plays first and if you hit the #1 it takes you to still 2. Link all other # keys back to still 1, so that hitting anything other than #1 will make your still just start over. On still 2 make the #2 go to still 3. Again, make all other # keys return back to still 1 and repeat this for still 3. Then make the final still in the sequence jump to the desired video track, or whatever it is that you are trying to protect. Only by inputting the correct # sequence will the user be able to navigate to the link to the movie.
When you jump from one still to the next you won't notice any difference, its completely seamless. So unless you actually know the password, you won't know when you have stumbled across a correct # by trial and error. As far as the actual menu navigation is concerned, it would actually work pretty well. The problem is that you could just turn off PBC and jump straight to the video track, completely bypassing your menu and password check. Also you could easily view the movie on any PC.
