    I can't get Gear Pro DVD 6 to work with my Pioneer A05.

    It says 'unable to initialize the recorder driver or recorder interface'.

    I've updated Gear with the latest download available from their website.

    Any suggestions?

    6.02 seems to work fine with my gear pro, although it wouldn't write anything above 1x!

    mastering edition works better and gives me all the 1x/2x/4x options on my a05! but if you want a better program with less udf bugs in it, try recordnow max!! you won't regret it!
