  1. Does anyone know of a good site where I can buy DVD cases? I'm looking for a site that sells both single and double cases, and I'm hoping not to have to order 100 at a time. Thanks!

  2. Check out www.inetdvd.com

The sell pretty much any kind of DVD case you would want:

    Alpha Single
    Amaray Single
    Alpha Double
    Amaray Double
Colors (white, red, gold, silver, etc.)
    ...even clear

I found out about these guys a while back. Great service, great prices and excellent selection.

No, I don't work for them... just a great site.

I went into my local woolworths and asked if they sold the replacement boxes for DVDs, the nice manageress behind the counter informed me that they didn't , but then asked how many I was after, I told her 'aabout 4 or 5' with this she went into the back store room and fetched out about 8 display cases 'There you go just pop something in the charity box and they're yours'she kindly said I did so and was mighty pleased...Not only did i get the cases I also got the covers for Crouching Tiger, Gone in 60 seconds and Saving Private Ryan , a bonus if ever there was one ...the donation to charity ? £1. You can try that.....

  5. Can I just say that, that DVD case site ROXOR!
I snagged a few when AOL was giving their coasters away for in those cases. I've also seen them for sale in Babbages, and Suncoast, 3 for $5 but only singles. I tried glueing a CD tray into the booklet side with PVC cement, but it withered the tray! LOL Oh well, live and learn, yes?

    Hi

Picked some single cases up at "poundland" the other day. 5 for £1, though it was a good buy so bought a lot of them.

However they take up too much room, so now cd's are in plastic wallets (£5 for 100). Dont need these DVD cases if anyone wants them for FREE !!(Uk) you pay postage. I have 20 of them.

  8. I know the original question was about single and double DVD cases but if anyone is interested in cases for three or more CDs, check out www.shapenet.com

I just got some 3-Disc and 4-Disc Jewel Cases from them. Those will come in handy for TV Miniseries and many other things.

As for the use of DVD Cases for VCDs... DVD Cases are nice because you can get 2-Disc cases, whip up a DVD Style cover in PhotoShop and it will look great on the shelf with your DVDs... as apposed to sitting around looking like Music CDs in a Jewel Case.

i agree that DVD cases "look nice" for storing VCDs but they take up too much room. i've got way too many DVDs and homebrewed VCDs than i do shelf space. i've decided to use one of those 96-disc CD binders ($20 at my local Target) for my homebrewed VCD movie collection (i'm on my second binder)...

  10. In the US, AOL has been mailing their coasters in single DVD cases lately (yes DVD cases, not jewel cases). Also Microsoft has a deal going where you can Visio 2002 trial version http://www.microsoft.com/office/visio/evaluation/trial.htm (I had a mailer to get it free) and it comes in a dual disc DVD case (one in standard place, one on a flippable center partition).
