I am thinking of purchasing the Sony DRX500UL to back up graphic and audio files. Most everything is on a PC server, but it would be nice to also plug up the unit to the Mac. I did see a post by David Cloutier about connecting to a Mac, but he does not have his email listed. It looks like the Sony DRX500UL only comes with PC software, so I guess this the first problem. Has anyone had any luck in doing this and if so what about the software? I see that there has been post about needing a 4pin-6pin firewire cable. What’s up with this? Is most firewire cables 4 wire?
Thanks,
Mark
