    I have recently used these on my Pioneer 105, and found them to be excellent !! but they are quite hard ot find ....

    does anyone know where i can get these in the UK ??

  2. I used to use the traxdata discs as well (from SVP communications - www.121cdr.co.uk) but they are like gold dust nowadays. The discs are based on Ritek G3 dye, so any disc that uses the same dye will work just as fine as the traxdata's. I have some datasafe ones at the moment - they use the same Ritek G3 dye.

    I am told that the Ritek G3 discs are obsolete now, being replaced by discs that use Riyek G4 dye, which you can write at 4x. The Datawrite 4x disc uses this dye. I read a review of the disc, and it said that the disc writes as perfectly as the 1x one, and is just as compatible, which is good news, but the bad news is they are still £1.60ish!

    When I run out of my current discs it looks as if i will be buying 4x discs from now on, even though they are almost double the price!
