  1. Can anyone help ? I do not want to play on WMP 9 cause it cannot seek to a certain time .. what can I do here?

    Can you hear sound as clear as the day? Then here is an almost to easy solution, but you would be surprised how many 'experts' were fooled by this. It seems that after some MediaPlayer auto-codec-download the filtersettings for brightness, contrast, saturation and hue are set to ZERO.
    1. Open the movie:
    2. Menu: "File->Properties->Windows Media Video Decoder->Properties"
    should hold the settings. Just hit "Reset"
    3. Done.

    Maybe not the solution for your problem. But its the best known 'unknown'
    MPlayer-bug for everyone saying: Sound o.k. but blank screen.

    Lolz... know how I solved this problem ... I chg my color resolution to 24 bit from 16 bit and it worked .... WMP is mad !!
