  1. I am trying to rip a DVD that has several episodes on it , like THE OFFICE SERIES 1.

I can only get Smartripper to rip the first episode and do not know how to capture the the other episodes on the whole DVD. Can anyone help me please????

  2. Each eps is most likely in it's own PCG (program chain). Just choose the file option and rip the whole DVD to the HD (or choose backup in smartripper).

However, the question is what do you want to do with that rip after that?

I have noticed that Smartripper has trouble identifying episodes. Use DVD Decrypter in IFO mode,it properly identifies each episode(PGC). Just rip each episode to it's own directory.

  4. Many thanks to you both for your reply.

Okay, copied the whole file using dvd decrypter in IFO mode. First encoding of all BUP, IFO and VOB files from VIDEO TS files up to VOB 10 copied all the chapter and introduction material but had major out of sync sound. I did not want any of the chapter and introduction material.

So then encoded just VOB, BUP and IFO files from VOB 1 to VOB 10. The movie started without the introduction but had 2 second difference between sound and movie position.

Any ideas how to resolve, did I miss one of the files before VOB 1, I have not got a clue and it is very frustrating??

What is a BUP file anyway.

    Cheers
