    I recently bought a adaptec 4300 firewire card and after testing it on 2 different ports I cant get the proper drivers loaded. Anyone had these type of problems? This is the 2nd card I have tried and they both got the same results. Thanks.

    Do you have an older mobo? It could be PCI version issue.
