  1. My question is there way to know if dvd players support 99min cd-r, other than getting one and testing it out. I have a philips 724AT if that helps

  2. I have some of these but am yet to test them out on either my burner Or my player (toshiba) . I think that it is likely to be your burner that is the problem as DVD 's are far more finely pitched than CDR even 99min ones. I notice that Sony DD seems to have died a death. When will they start producing extra long dvd blanks eg std now 4.7gb future 5.4gb ? 6.1gb ??

  3. I think its just a case of try it and see. I have some 99 min media which I can burn to 98:58. Both my DVD players will play the discs, but one will only play up to 88 minutes of the disc. At this point the video gets stuck in a loop and will play no further.

  5. Most newer burning apps can burn 90 and 99 min CDs. However, not all players will play such discs properly all the way to the end...
