  1. when i convert divx or avi to .mpg using TMPGEnc, the output file's image size is alwayx smaller than the original one.. thus the quality is reduce.. i have quality set to "highest quality (very slow)"i also have source aspect ratio set to 1:1(VGA) and also have video arrange method set to "Full screen (keep aspect ratio)" is there any other settings i need to mess around with? theres gotta be a way right? also what does "Inverse telecine" do? i always uncheck that box.. cuz it takes too long.. please help out.. thanx..

    Are you talking about the resolution of the video? you mean the size is smaller on your computer. there are strict standards for resolution size when creating VCD's SVCD's and DVD's.

    Maybe you should do some more reading to increase your knowledge.
