Thanks,Pan. Does anyone have any first hand info for the recorder? I assume it is a hard disk?recorder since it mentions time shift recording, and oesn't mention DVD-R or DVD-RW.

More info for you.
It does not nessecarily mean it has a hard disk at all.
time shift recording just means you can watch the show later versus when it originally aired.
here the same time shift feature is said for pansonic models without harddrives.
