How to hack my pioneer dv 250

Hi, Could anybody help me to hack my pioneer dv 250. I got it from Walmart, therefore it;s a region one. My main problem is that i have an all zone disc that i got from France, but the player won't play it. The screen mention incompatible region.
Any help anyone

I find it a bit odd that it says wrong region. An All-region disk should include Zone 1. Are you sure it's not a region 2 disk?

Anyways, French DVDs use PAL. So there may an issue with your DVD player playing PAL disk. Although I have read comments from users that say the Pioneer DV-250 can play PAL SVCDs. So I am assuming that it has a built-in PAL to NTSC converter. If it doesn't, it should either play in black and white or just indicate wrong TV type (but it should not say wrong region). Assuming that it does have a converter, you must set the TV type to NTSC (not automatic or multi).
