Windows Movie Maker 2

Can anyone help me, i have this one problem with windows movie maker 2. The program starts well and all components work well except for the transitions and video effects. When i choose any one of this components the program just exits without any report or any other message.


I really neeed the help.

I can't really offer any help, but I can say that I have the exact same problem. Also there is no way to uninstall the update. I was using the Beta and it was working fine, but the final release just closes itself without any notice or anything.

I can't say that i have experienced any problems with movie maker 2. I just upgraded to xp and the first thing I did was do all criticial updates and updated to movie maker 2. I think it is a final version not a beta. However i did make a 20 min movie to play with it had 3 title screens and 3 or 4 transitions with no problems at all. I don't care for the way the title screens work, but the program worked flawlessly for me. Maybe I will play with it some more to see if I get any hang ups..
Manuxtreme- Did you go from the beta version to the final ver? And is it possible to maybe uninstall the beta get back to original ver that came with xp and upgrade to 2, the final version?
