Very simple, but it works amazingly well.
Wish I had thought of this before.
Load Mpeg or Vob
Edit in timeline of QT window
Save as MOV or MPEG with audio in sync
Requires QT Pro with MPEG2 playback & export componets
Subject to size limits of QT
So segment large files first

Congratulations to you, BileStyle, and Chris Long on the release of fourty-two.
I respect and honor your talents.
I am installing now, can't wait to try it out.
BTW, give this little edit routine a try yourself.

Hey Ross,
Nice app, thanks for the release. One question, I was trying it out last night on a variety of source material, and not sure what to do with SVCD mpeg2's. When presented with the input aspect ratio dialog box, there doesn't seem to be a size available for NTSC SVCD video (I think 480x480). Should I use one of the other selections?

Thanks rockinsage,
MME has evolved a bit since the original post.
I will upload the latest version tonight. Now includes paste.
For standard svcd 480x480 the frame size should be 480x360.
Remember TV's use rectangular verse monitor's square pixels. -
A work in progress update has been uploaded.
More resolution sizes to choose from.
"Start here" & "Stop here" (Cut by seconds & frame) has been added. This has only been tested at 29.97 fps, (other rates may not be accurate). The timeline was hard to use with long clips.
"Paste Clipboard at Play Head", after a mpeg has been converted and opens, you can press open again for second mpeg, copy (Cut Selection) a section, then paste into the first.
Save as MOV, MPEG2, or MPEG4
