VDub only uses the codecs that are available through the windows systems, eg nothing more or less than Sound Recorder might have... windows as-is only comes with a very crippled MP3 encoder, you'll either have to...
1/ find the 'better', unlocked codecs (which still only go to 128k/44khz, but give fairly good results at that quality), which are running wild on the net, wherever they haven't been tracked down and forcibly deleted by the copyright holders.
1b/ some versions of DivX have a similar thing to these unlocked codecs, but it's called DivX audio, sometimes it's a hack of WMA instead. No bad thing, except that WMA is actually bill gate's evil sperm in electronic form. ahem ;-D no it's a good compressor, it just generally gets used by fools when it comes to filesharing and the like...
2/ Use a different encoder, for example take the audio from your video, convert it first to WAV and then run it through Musicmatch jukebox, CDEx, Lame, to make a fast and HQ mp3 file, better than what the windows codecs would do anyway. Then use a program such as Wav4Mp3 to convert this to an mp3 'hidden' inside a wav file, so Vdub can mix it into the video properly (through using 'WAV audio' instead of 'AVI audio'). A somewhat more convoluted, lengthy and disk hungry process, but just about worth it in the end. Plus you don't have to go to the trouble of hunting and installing effectively illegal codecs..

  3. but it is more complicated than others .. can i have any ways to have the highest bkps for sound?

since VDub only uses the codecs that are available through the windows systems, eg nothing more or less than Sound Recorder might have... windows as-is only comes with a very crippled MP3 encode.... how can i implement more sound codec inside the computer so that i can use it from conversation .....

    i have a site called http://www.vcdhelp.com/tools#codecs
and i choose Lame MP3 Codec for that... but how to use it? since it also can use it for my VirtualDubMod_14131 can i do that way ?
