  1. does a connector exist to that will allow my coaxial cable tv signal from old school tv (with only coax in and out) to plug into my RCA (red, yellow, white) jacks of my Capture card, audio card?

if so, can you find an image of such a connector on the net?

    thanx... greatly appreciated...

  2. You can buy RCA connectors at Radio Shack. I make my own RCA/composite cables from cable TV coax.

I think you will have some issues with the tuning though except maybe on channel 3 or 4 unless you are using a tuned signal like from a VCR or TV box.

  4. I may be wrong, but I think the coax/rf signal is different from the rca/composite signal. Radio shack used to sell a converter that converts RF to composite. I am assuming you are trying to go from RF to Composite. In some cases. you may have to attenuate the signal or else you may damage your card. Best to ask a TV tech.

Unless you want to buy some hardware to convert your signal (not really worth it), I'd use a VCR or something similar.
