Using Studio 8 and NEC DVD+RW ND-1100A I burned a 56 min project on a DVD+R (and DVD+RW) (Imation). First I created a disc image and than burned it to a disc (best quality, speed 1x). The project has 3542 MB.
I can play the film on my computer but not on my DVD player Philips DVD950. The first 30 min are perfect but than the image start to freeze and to jump so that it is not possible to see the rest of the film. I upgraded the firmware of the DVD player but it did not help.
In the compatibility list the player is signed as able to read DVD+R and DVD+RW. I tried Imation and Sony (incredibly expensive) without success.
Would be grateful for any help.

maybe u didnot burn it rite. studio 8 is not as compatible as Sonic DVD4. use sonic instead. i think it came with your dvd+rw burner. it's easier to use and more compatible. the only problem is that it uses pcm audio. imation arent good brand. Memorex is a little better if u want to save some bucks.

I got some help from a Studio 8 forum. I had to install a beta Studio 8.5.8 . Now I can view the whole DVD on my Pilips.
