Media for Apex Ad-1100W

can anyone get a "backup" of a DVD to play on this player? It plays everything I have tried but NOT a Sony DVD+RW with backup or a Memorex DVD+R with backup. waiting on some DVD-R to get here. Any help you can give thanks

I don't understand. What kind of media have you tried that works? What kind of drive did you use?

I have used the midea listed in the first topic "a Sony DVD+RW with backup and a Memorex DVD+R with backup" by backup I mean dvd copy. I use DVDdecrypter to rip. When I said it plays everything I have tried, I ment with SVCD's and VCD's on that same media. Sorry for not making that more clear. My writer is a Sony DRU-500A

optodisc and sony +rw plays in my 1100 as well as ritek-r dvd backups and other dvd movies I have authored and burned Never had a problem playing pal or ntsc vcd's purchased or authored and burned using nero for burning

Now the 1050 sometimes has problems playing a store bought dvd
