  1. I have 3 VOB files and I want to delete some scenes from each one of them. What is the simplest tool to do this. I want the output to be VOB files also.

  3. I'm not sure how you got the files or what tools you have, or even why you want to cut sceens. I have tried to remove some time in vob files that didn't quite just fit on a dvdr. The easiest way I found was to use VOBEdit. Under the Demux button you can split a vob into 'cells' or what MIGHT translate into sceen cuts. Given this you can then join the clips again under the edit menu.

This only really works if the cell ids shake out to what you want to remove, like ending credits or maybe chapters in a commercial dvd.

Here is a link to a guide on VOBEdit joining http://ifoedit.wh.fr0zen.com/joinclip.html

By the way, it seems to me, if you demux the video and audio (presumably ac3), you would have to then cut them seperately, and hopefully remove the same amount of time. Seeing that both of these are complex files, you would have to have good editors. Acutally, I believe that Wombles MPEG2VCR advertiese that it can cut vob files with ac3, but it cost $$$.
