I was just wondering because all I have is a Western Digital 20gig HD. I was thinking about getting an additional 30gig HD. Does this make the capturing smoother? Thanks.

imo, no. provided you have enough physical memory in your system to prevent excess swapping by windows, and your vcache is setup correctly. oh, and your current drive is dma-capable/enabled.
just don't be running microsoft office in the background while trying to capture video
sure it would be more convenient to have a dedicated drive for capturing, but its not neccessary.

Thanks for the tip. My drive has a little over 10gigs to spare. The only programs I have my computer are Quicken, NERO, Ulead4, Multimedia Center, Napster(which I probably need to remove), PowerDVD, Corel Presentations, and ME 98.
