Ok, I guess this is a very common problem but yet I don't know how to fix it: The computer started up just then and the burner opened on startup for no reason at all, so i pushed it pack it, and it came back out. The burner just does not want to close, it keeps opening up, even when i reastart the computer. Any ideas?

Either it's 1) defective, or 2) something is keeping the tray from completely closing properly. Have kids? Mabye there's a lego piece in there.
How new/old is it?
