    Hello I have been wondering what 4x media works at 4x with the Sony-DRU500a, Do any of the following burn at 4x:

    Pioneer 4x DVD-R
    Datasafe 4x DVD-R
    Datawrite 4x DVD-R

    Any help of comments would be appreciated

    Well the Sony media compatablily list shos the Pioneer so I guess that would work.

    I have tested the 4x Datawrite printable surface (ritek gen 4 media) from www.blankdiscshop.co.uk and they burn fine at 4x and playback fine.
