bad packets? in Mpeg tryingto VCDEasy shorten film

hi

complete and utter newbie here, am tryingto burn vcd from mpegs downloaded from kazaa (also avi converted to mpeg with that tn whatever prgram recommended here) but they are only doing about 5 minutes and then saying bad packets...

can anyone help on this?

thanks for the tips -
i have (re)read the guides - and done the check from Virtual Dub, but it comes up as no bad frames...

crikey!! all i want is to get Buffy season 7 and Angel season 4 on vcd!!!!

What is the source ? I bet your using ASF 8)

i have no idea to be honest with you, anyway to tell?

Try to load it into Vdub, if it tells you NO then its ASF, other than that in Vdub select file > File information

have now deleted the file though and am re-donwlonading new set of files to try them!!

You probably didn't multi-plex the file correctly.

Try using bbMPEG to re-mulitplex your file.
