  3. First, you will need a software player that will play your file, since it could be any of 3 versions of DivX, XVID, true AVI (highly unlikely), or several other things, can't really specify one but a DivX player program should work, do a Google search.

Next, activate the TV-out before playing the film.

Connect the TV-out cable from video card to Video-in on VCR, select same on VCR, check for image on TV. You may need to have the cable connected to activate TV-out.

Press record on VCR (with blank tape inserted), press play on PC Software.

  4. connect s-video plug they gave you to card, might have some
kind of adapter to it...may only support s-video, so go to radio
shack, and get a s-video to RCA composite plug, ya know what
it looks like right on ur vhs? click properties on desktop, go to
settings, then advanced, if you installed ur drivers for card, there
should be a setting called NVIEW, go there, look for setting for
monitors,i use clone, then turn a tv on for the vcr to see if u have
a picture or not, i noticed u got to change screen resolution to
    800x600......

  5. very simple :

you have a TV out, right?

conect the TV out to your video. mostly using a cinch cable or din.
-> connect to your videorecorder where it says VIDEO IN and AUDIO IN.
be sure you connect video to video, and audio to audio.
    Turn on your TV
set it to your video channel (0 or AV1, AV IN,...)
select on your VCR also the input channel you used where you plugged in the cinch cable

Now go to your configuration settings on your computer and select your video output to TV in stead of MONITOR (u must connect first or u can't select TV)
when u click ok, the screen switches to your TV

Now play your movie with your favourite player (full screen) and hit REC on your VCR

[use ZOOMPLAYER wich has a very good full screen play.]
