After waiting patiently the last couple of weeks for someone to mention this piece of software i have decided i cannot wait anymore !
I thought most people would be interested in this as it DOES ( well in my experience ) do as it says , namely fit a dvd9 to a dvd5 with the relevent audio tracks, subtitles and angles albeit just the movie though and no extras and no menus which do not really bother me. The software itself is actually german but it does not take a genius ( mind you judging by those here i wouldn't be surprised ! ) to figure it out![]()
I have personally copied Black Hawk Down using this and no probs only for the actual media used for the copy.Took about 7 hours on my 1.2ghz athlon. The only thing is if you don't mind is that it does access the dvd drive throughout the process something i know some may be worried about.
so i hand it over to the minds that be in here to pore over the prog to see if there is anything else i may have missed in my interpretation it.
Here's a link to the site , it is in German but use google to translate it and you will get the gist of it ................

I've just purchased DaVIDEO OnDVD and I an currently duplicating a Spanish (PAL / Region 2) film. I'll keep you posted of the results.
I have a question you may answer in the meantime: what give you the greatest compatibility: UDF only or ISO/UDF? Although the latter is supposed to give more compatibility and did experience the opposite when using DIVDXCOPY in the past....
