    I recorded a 1 and a half hour radio concert in wav format, but the file is 900mb. I would like to convert to a smaller mp3 file. What program do I use?

    you need the besweet 1.4 and the gui(put both in same folder)

    Uhhh...won't LAME or MusicMatch allow you to convert from WAV to MP3? I've been using these for quite awhile and they never give me any problems.

    Yep, musicmatch is excellent for this [wav to mp3 and vice-versa] and I understand is freeware [although the faster version is £££].
    Would recommend it highly.

    its excellent programme and is freeware, also gives you the ability to change quality of the audio, definatley recommend it to anyone....
