I have changed the aspect ratio in tmpgenc and have got it to full screen without any streching and its perfect but I know when I run the movie thru Spruceup it will stuff the ifo file settings up... my question is what setting do you put in ifo file for it to be the same as the source (which is full screen).... and which one do ya edit... I think its line 100 in the "video_ts.ifo" file under "vmgm_mat" section and there is also in file name "vts_01_0.ifo" in section "vtsi_mat" line 100 and line 200 ... so what settings should I put in these sections....
thanks
Dave..
p.s-- I have almost got it.... thank god !!

load up uour new video_ts.ifo file in ifoedit an d the main window will show the current aspect ratio of your main movie.
eg
blah blah blah MPEG-2 16:9 letterboxed
if using spruce everything is output in 4:3
right click on this line and change the setting to what you want prob 16:9 letterboxed and save
you can always change the setting back and re-save if you need to
sometimes you will need to open up vts_01_0.ifo as well and also change the setting in there
