  1. Hi, I just received my order of 100 ACCU disks and the first thing I noticed when I opened the box was that there were two 50 pack spindles, as opposed to the 100 pack spindle I ordered. I guess that MAY not be a problem, as long as these are ACCU and as long as they burn and play fine. The thing is that they don't say a single thing on the top side of the disk. They are just purple in color on the write side, and silver on the top side, but they don't say anything. Can anybody confirm that the ACCU's that they ordered do or don't say ACCU on them? Thanks in advance

Also, the people who have ordered ACCU and have burned SUCCESSFULLY at 2x with NO PROBLEMS, please let me know too, because from what i've read, some people get pixelation at 2X, but at 1x there burns seem to be better. Thanks

  2. Seems like the Accus I got from cdrdvdrmedia.com and I am able to burn at 2x although sensitive stuff I burn at 1x to make sure. I miss having a decent writing surface on top.

Check the DVDR Media list for info on what the internal data marks are - most say LD or LEAD DATA.
Panasonic DMR-ES45VS, keep those discs a burnin'

  3. Hi Kitty, thanks for the 411. I got these from cdrdvdrmedia.com too. One interesting thing I just noticed using ADVDINFO is that the first 50 pack spindle..all the disks were manufactured by SONY. Now I didn't check all 50, but I checked the top 5, then the middle 5, and the last five, and ALL were by SONY...I think it's safe to say all 50 are the same. But when I checked the SECOND 50 pack spindle, and remember, I ordered 100 pack spindle, and they sent me two 50's.....second 50 pack are all lead data, and say this..

...thanks again Donpedro for that post, ...this time I did READ IT... ...not only was that informative, but very encouraging, because it seems I received a very similar batch of disks as "Da MAN" did. Half of mine are SONY and the other half are LEAD DATA. "Da Man" said his all burned at 2x and played PERFECTLY, regardless if they were lead data or SONY...LUCKY ME! I haven't even burned one and I'm feeling good. It was worth the 5 business day wait. Not that long considering they came from Cali to Miami. It's about that time to test these bad boys out! Thanks again for all your help donpedro.
