  1. well I recently D/L my first Xvid movie and it is spectacular quality. Anyway playing the video is not the problem. The video is great and I want to convert it to an SVCD with a bitrate of 2520kbps to maximize the quality. The audio is ac3 so I converted it to wav with goldwave. When I go in to TMPGEnc any try to encode the video TMPGEnc throws me some errors about not being compatible… it is not an audio problem it is strictly video. What should I do? How else can I encode this film into SVCD? I like TMPGEnc because the quality is superior to any thing else out there. What is the best way to get this thing on SVCD? I don’t want to loose quality and I am not sure what to do now…

    please help…

    Thanks,

What does it say ? sounds like you dont have the Xvid codec, playback can be done with another codec.

Test your system, see what you can "Edit"
