  1. I have ripped full metal jacket. Ive got rid of the audio tracks and subtitles etc and the foreign menus and the trailer but its 4.86gb

Is there anything else i could loose without re-encoding? is it possible to just delete a chapter from the dvd like the credits? if so how would i do this?

    Thanks

Not necessarily... dgrestyuk is correct, using Stream Processing in Smartripper or DVDDecrypter he can cut out the final chapter (end credits prolly), maybe making the final size small enough.

  6. Its not actually under stream processing (my bad ), but INPUT. A list of chapters, 1-30 or whatever, with ticks next to them, just untick the chapters you don't want...

You need to trim 500Mb's,the end credits will be at most 200MB's. That leaves you 300MB's over. You could transcode the audio from 448 to 192,but even that will only trim about 200MB's. I think you need to transcode the video!

  8. well, click on movie files in smartripper, and uncheck last
chapter, make sure its last chapter though, view its number
in a dvdplayer, its probably only 200-300 mgs though, maybe
find a"boring" chapter somewhere else, hard to make that
    decision though i think....

  9. Just checked a few discs, and found out that the last chapter isn't always JUST the end credits, but maybe the last minute or two of the movie as well, best check it out first.
