  1. I´m using Studio DV 8.

    1. When i´m capturing film i have chosen 768x576 STD PAL, but i have see other formats being recommended. What should i choose? What i´m editing will be used both on tv and on internet. I don´t want widescreen, usual resolution. What resolution does a tv have, is there any reason to have a better resolution than that? Can i change resolution after finished editing? Does a tv change it selves after resolution?
    2. What should i save the movies as, mpeg, divx...? I want them to have very good quality but not take so much room at my webpage?
    3. When i´m taking in jpeg pictures to the program so can i choose quality, pixels/inch. What to use that the tv can use at it´s best?

  3. First, look here :

Pinnacle Studio 8 and DV home video editing

    and now...

    1. If you have DV camcorder than firewire DV capture is the best (my opinion). There is no loss of quality in thet process.

    2. after you are done with editing you can select any type of output that PS8 supports. Some other sofwares will let you choose on the beggining and thats it. Not with PS8.

    3. I am not sure what are you asking about TV resolution. If you need best quality go for DVD resolution. In case of PAL it is 720x576.

    4. Web page ??? Try different outputs and compare them by your self. Create som small 1minute project for that. You have different options in PS8 for output.

    5. JPG ? Try to search help file, but I would assume that anything bigger than 720x576 will not improve quality. But I migght be wrong about this.
