  1. When I try to encode MPEG-2 (SVCD) with TMPGENC, I
get the following error: MPEG-2 Trial period has expired.
I went to TMPGENC's parent site and discovered the program can't be registered yet. So how do I get rid of this message and convert to SVCD format?

    Thanks,

  3. Hi there,

    Just a nice hint :
Remove the above metioned registry key, set your date to somewhere in the far future (2010 would do) and start TMPGenc and exit it. Now set your date back to the current, and your TMPGenc MPEG2 encoder won't expire until 2010

  6. There's a nice little program that will handle this on even the latest version of TMPGENC

    email padams27@vistatech.net for a copy.

I'm just passing this on from another board member
