OK - I've looked through the archives but can't find a reasonable response - excuse me if one IS actually out there.

When playing a avi (Video in a window) file lasting approx 7 minutes the picture appears to pause for a very very small fraction of a second every 7-8 seconds. Not in itself a disaster but very annoying and unprofessional. I have tried it on a number of players (WMP, Macromedia Director MX & Creative MediaSource Player) and it does the same.

For information the file is on my hard-drive, it is 740,773 KB in size, lasts 7 minutes and encoded in Cinepac Codec by Radius, 17752 KBps Data rate, at a PAL frame rate (25.00 per Sec) and saved to a frame size of 720x576 in 24 bit colour. Hope this is of some use to someone - and you can get me running smoothly??????
