hey i have ripped 2 dvds so far and the words are like a second too early with the mouths. i used DVDx. i know how to fix this in TMPGEnc but is there anyway to get the audio in sync with the video?

you can use bbmpeg, or tmpgenc or try and rerip the movie with smartripper and see if that solves the problem. Did you reencode anything or is the sync issue coming from the vobs?
